KSMC - Online Registration System.

i) Choose the Medicine Type for which user wishes to register in KSMC.
ii) Enter all mandatory fields in the sign up page.
iii)Users are requested to input a password for logging into the portal once 
   the registration process is completed. The password should have at least one upper 
   case character, one lower case character, one digit and one special character.
iv) Once all required details are entered correctly, click the Preview button.
Note : 
 i) Please enter the name exactly as in Medical qualification certificate issued by 
  your University.
 ii) Please enter Father’s name exactly as in SSLC certificate or equivalent.
 iii) Please make use of commas for separating address fields while entering address 
  data in Permanent address box. Do not enter District, State and Pincode in address 
  box - separate data entry fields are provided for entering them.
 iv) A preview screen with all entered details will be shown for verification.

vi) Click Submit button if entered details are correct. User will be redirected to 
Registration details and Photo / Signature upload page.				

i) There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature
ii) Click on the “Choose” button for Photo / Signature upload.
iii)Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph / Signature file has been saved.
iv) Select the file by clicking on it.
v) Click the “Upload” button
vi)Finally click the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
   Please note that the application will not be registered unless the user uploads photograph 
   and signature as specified.
   After login applicant can apply various type of applications. Instructions for applying 
   application available on home page.
			

Provisional Registration:-			
	  Applicants studied in India::                                  1000/-	
	  Applicants studied outside India (Foreign Medical Graduates):: 15,000/-
   No Objection Certificate::                                        1500/-
   Good Standing Certificate::                                       5000/-

All users are required to register their profiles and update their personal as well as 
professional details in KSMC automation portal.

From the menu, go to Sign Up -> Applicant
Check the “I have read the instructions”  box and Click Next button to proceed. 
User will be redirected to profile registration page.
		

⦁ Scanned copies of certificates in PDF file format – maximum size 500 KB has to be 
 uploaded along with the application. 
⦁ If the document contains multiple pages, please ensure that the multiple pages are 
 scanned together as a single PDF file for upload purpose.
⦁ Please ensure that the contents of scanned documents are in proper readable format.
⦁ The copies of all documents should be attested by a Gazetted Officer of the Kerala 
 Government, affixed with name and designation seal and office seal and the same  
 documents scanned and uploaded shall be used for sending to KSMC along with the  
 printout of acknowledgment. Otherwise application will not be considered.

- Photograph must be a recent passport style color picture.
- Make sure that the picture is taken against a light-colored, preferably white background.
- Dimensions 200 x 180 pixels (preferred)
- Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb
- Format should be jpeg

- The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
- The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
- Dimensions 100 x 180 pixels (preferred)
- Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb

⦁ Please make use of a scanner so that quality of image in digital format is maintained.
⦁ Save the image file in required JPEG format.

Provisional registration
 Provisional registration certificates of new applicants who have acquired medical 
qualification and are eligible for doing CRRI alone (inside/ outside India) can be
applied via online portal.Applicants who require Second provisional certificate need 
not register / apply via automation portal but have to submit the application directly to 
Kerala State Medical Councils.
Provisional NOC
Applicant should have provisional registration with KSMC and provisional registration 
history data to be entered before applying Provisional NOC.
NOC for Other State Council	
Applicant should have permanent registration with KSMC. Permanent registration history 
data as well as additional registration history  (if any) to be entered before applying  
NOC for Other State Council
Good Standing Certificate	
Applicant should have permanent registration with KSMC. Permanent registration history 
data as well as additional registration history  (if any) to be entered before 
applying  GoodStanding

⦁ Scanned copies of recent passport photograph and signature in required format 
 and size for upload purpose.
⦁ Scanned file of attested copies of supporting documents in PDF format for upload 
 purpose.(The same documents used for scanning should be sent to KSMC ).
⦁ Valid Email ID and Mobile number for communication purposes.

   Enter and required fields and proceed to Certificate Upload Section
   


   After uploading required certificates in pdf format, proceed to 
   declaration section. Please read the content present in 
   Declaration I section.
   


   Proceed to Declaration II and read the contents.  Click on the link 
   –“Read the Code of ethics”
   


   A pop up window will be shown with the code of ethics document. 
   Once you have gone through it - click the ACCEPT button.
   

   Please note that only if you click the ACCEPT button, “I Agree” 
   tick box will be enabled. 


   Click the “APPLY” button to submit your application. All data needs 
   to be entered properly to submit the application. Else the Apply button 
   will not be enabled and data submission process will remain incomplete. 
   Once all data is properly verified and entered, click “Apply” button.

   After submitting the application, click the “Proceed to Pay” button.

⦁ Fee can be remitted by the special challan issued by the Council at the SBI City Branch, 
 Thiruvananthapuram or by D.D. from any Nationalized Bank payable at SBI City Branch, 
 Thiruvananthapuram, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Kerala State Medical Councils, 
 Red Cross Road, Thiruvananthapuram. 
⦁ Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.(The fee shall be subject 
 to revision from date to date).

⦁ Click the second tab named Pay Details. 
⦁ Click Print E-Receipt link to generate Online Receipt in pdf format. 
⦁ Click Print button on top right or Right click – Print option to generate printout.
			

⦁ Attested copy of the Birth Certificates issued under the Registration of Births  
 and Deaths Act, 1969 or SSLC Certificate to prove date of birth.
⦁ Provisional Certificate/Pass Certificate issued by the university concerned
⦁ Copy of Provisional Registration Certificate from the state council and NOC from
 the University concerned, for those who studied in a college /university outside Kerala.
⦁ Acknowledgment printout after applying for provisional Registration
⦁  Payment Receipt Printout / D.D. or challan – whichever applicable.

CBSE Board: Students who have completed their 12th after 2004, results can be verified online and therefore no fee payment needed.  

For ICSE / ISC Board, verification fee payment is done online by KSMC. You are requested to contact concerned sections ie Ayurveda, 
Homoeo or Modern Medicine to know the details of fees and how to make fee payment.

3. FEE and  MODE OF PAYMENT – FOR ONLINE MODE, FEES CAN BE SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA NET BANKING, CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD. 
FOR OFFLINE MODE, THE FEE SHALL BE DRAWN BY BANK DRAFT IN FAVOUR OF “THE REGISTRAR, KERALA STATE MEDICAL COUNCILS, 
RED CROSS ROAD, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM” 
ON REVERSE OF THE DRAFT, FOLLOWING DETAILS ARE TO BE FILLED BY THE APPLICANT AND DULY SIGNED:- 
a. NAME 
b. FATHER’S NAME 
c. PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE DRAFT SUBMITTED 
d. TELEPHONE NO WITH CODE/MOBILE NO.

 4.APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECTS. NO ALTERATION WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE MADE IN THE APPLICATION FORM 
   AFTER IT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE COUNCIL.
				

⦁ Login to the portal using your registered user id and password
⦁ From the menu on left, click View Applications
⦁ From the application list, choose the Provisional Registration Application and click View icon  
 at the extreme right.
⦁ Click the last tab named Application Status. 
⦁ Status of application can be viewed in the table displayed in the page.

  deducted more than once while doing online payment.

Once your application process is complete, you will get intimation from KSMC stating that  
the certificate is available online and ready to be printed. Please login to the portal with 
your user id and password. 
Go to View Applications and click the View icon for Provisional Registration. Click Print  
button for printing the certificate. Note that you can take print only once after that the 
print button will be disabled. 

			

Under normal circumstances, such a facility is not provided. However please contact  
KSMC Help desk number: 0471-2557227 Ext: 31 in case if there is a genuine reason 
for reprint the certificate.
			

⦁ Printout to be taken in A4 size paper
⦁ The paper should be glossy / photo paper
⦁ Paper weight : 250 g/m²
⦁ Paper thickness : 10.5 mil
			

Please note that applying for provisional registration online does not mean the application 
process is complete. The hard copies of supporting documents must be sent to KSMC office at 
the earliest. Once the documents are received, then only the processing of application 
will be initiated.
			

If you have chosen any other option other than NEW REGISTRATION, you must enter your 
registration history data with KSMC at the time of first login. You must enter only 
those qualifications (Provisional , Permanent or Additional qualifications) which are 
already registered with KSMC. Please enter your KSMC registration number and Date of 
registration carefully without any mistake. 


1.If you have chosen “I have Provisional Registration with KSMC”, you must enter
  provisional registration history data. On first login, you will be redirected to 
  Registration History data entry page. Please refer to the Provisional Registration 
  certificate issued by KSMC for entering the following details.
  (i)	Registration date : Date of registration as per KSMC certificate
  (ii)	Qualification : Select qualification name as per KSMC certificate
  (iii)	College name
  (iv)	University name : As per KSMC certificate
  (v)	Course start date and Course end date
  (vi)	Year of passing : As per KSMC certificate
  (vii)	Read Declaration I and Declaration II
  (viii)Click the link – “Click here to read the code of ethics” . Scroll down 
        to the bottom of the code of ethics pop up window. Click “Accept” button. 
        Then tick “I Agree” box. Then only the submit button will be enabled.
  (ix)	Click SUBMIT button to submit your KSMC Provisional registration history.
 

2.If you have permanent registration, please choose  “I have Permanent Registration
 with KSMC (Studied in Kerala / Outside Kerala)” if you have studied in India. 

  You must enter permanent registration history data. On first login, you will be 
  redirected to Registration History data entry page. Please refer to the Permanent 
  Registration certificate issued by KSMC for entering the following details.
  (i)	Registration date : Date of registration as per KSMC certificate
  (ii)	State of College
  (iii)	Qualification Registered:Select qualification name exactly as per KSMC certificate
  (iv)	Name of College
  (v)	Name of University : Exactly as per KSMC certificate
  (vi)	Course start date and Course end date
  (vii)	Year of passing : As per KSMC certificate
 

If you have foreign qualification, please choose  “I have Permanent Registration with 
KSMC (Studied in Foreign country)” .


 You must enter foreign permanent registration history data. On first login, you will be 
 redirected to Registration History data entry page. Please refer to the Foreign Permanent
 Registration certificate issued by KSMC for entering the following details.
 (i)	Registration date : Date of registration as per KSMC certificate
 (ii)	Medical Qualification name
 (iii)	Qualification Registered: Select qualification name exactly as per KSMC certificate
 (iv)	Name of College
 (v)	Name of University : Exactly as per KSMC certificate
 (vi)	Course start date and Course end date
 (vii)	Year of passing : As per KSMC certificate
 (viii)	Year of passing : As per KSMC certificate

Please note that after saving Permanent registration history details, you will see a pop up 
window asking whether you have any Additional qualifications registered with KSMC. Please 
choose “Studied in India” if you have additional qualification completed in India and 
registered with KSMC. Please choose “Studied in Foreign” if you have additional qualification 
completed outside India (in a foreign country). Please refer to your Additional certificate 
issued by KSMC for filling up the details.

(For foreign qualifications)
(i)	Registration date : Date of registration of additional qualification as per KSMC certificate

(iii)	Qualification : Select qualification name exactly as per KSMC certificate
(iv)	College name
(v)	University name : Enter university name exactly per KSMC certificate
(vi)	Course start date and Course end date
(vii)	Year of passing : As per KSMC certificate
If you have multiple additional qualifications registered with KSMC, you must enter them 
as well. Please make use of the pop up window for adding additional qualification and enter 
the qualification details as per additional qualification certificates issued from KSMC.
Note : You are requested to enter the details exactly as per KSMC certificate. 

For D.N.B additional qualifications Please choose the option “Not Applicable 
(in case of D.N.B. select this)” option for State, college and University. 
Please enter passing date as Course Start Date and Course End Date.  

If you have accidentally skipped the option to enter registered additional qualifications 
and need to enter it, go to View applications page and click the link - “Add more additional 
qualifications registered with this council CLICK HERE”.



			

1.	When creating profile, you must select the option “I have Provisional Registration 
with KSMC” and enter your KSMC provisional registration number. 




2.	Login to the portal using registered email id and password.
3.	If you are logging in for the first time, you will be asked to 
  enter Provisional Registration history details. For details of how to 
  enter Provisional history, please refer to the section : How to enter 
  KSMC registration history. 
 Note : If you haven’t entered registration history details, 
 NOC and Good Standing links will not be enabled. 
4.	Go to Apply -> NOC from the left menu
5.	Enter the purpose for applying provisional NOC

6.	Upload the supporting documents mentioned
7.	Submit the application by clicking Submit button. 
8.	Make payment using Proceed to pay button 
9.	If payment is successful, then your application will be submitted to KSMC 
  and processed. You can track the status of your application by going to View 
  Applications page.

  with KSMC” and enter your KSMC permanent registration number.
2.Login to the portal using registered email id and password.
3.If you are logging in for the first time, you will be asked to enter Permanent 
 and Additional Registration history details. For details of how to enter Permanent
 and Additional history, please refer to the section : How to enter KSMC registration history.
  Note : If you haven’t entered registration history details, NOC and Good Standing 
         links will not be enabled.
4.Go to Apply-> NOC from left menu
 
5.Select the council for which NOC is required in the application page
6.Upload the supporting documents mentioned
7.Submit the application by clicking Submit button
8.Make payment using Proceed to pay button
9.If payment is successful, then your application will be submitted to KSMC 
and processed. You can track the status of your application by going to View 
Applications page.
	In case of Homoeo and Ayurveda Cancelled NOC, original KSMC Permanent and 
	Additional Registration certificates needs to be surrendered so that KSMC 
	registration stands cancelled in order to obtain NOC.		
	

1.	When creating profile, you must select the option “I have Permanent Registration 
with KSMC” and enter your KSMC permanent registration number.
2.	Login to the portal using registered email id and password.
3.	If you are logging in for the first time, you will be asked to enter Permanent and 
Additional Registration history details. For details of how to enter Permanent and Additional 
history, please refer to the section : How to enter KSMC registration history.
     Note : If you haven’t entered registration history details, NOC and Good Standing 
            links will not be enabled. 
4.	Go to Apply-> Good Standing from left menu
5.	Select the purpose for applying Good standing certificate
6.	Upload the supporting documents mentioned
7.	Submit the application by clicking Submit button
8.	Make payment using Proceed to pay button
9.	If payment is successful, then your application will be submitted to KSMC and processed.
